EXF Foundation

This unit is established as an underpinning knowledge unit only to give an overview of the requirements of working safely in a explosive atmosphere. Designed specifically for Electrical Supervisors, Contract Managers and Senior Management and Non-Practitioners to enable a greater appreciation of the hazards associated with working in explosive atmospheres and the promotion of safe working practices.
The Foundation Module has also been integrated into the Ex11 Mechanical Module to give mechanical operatives an understanding of electrical and mechanical hazards that can give rise to danger in the workplace.
